Excellent post! I&#039;m doing something similar for &#039;instant&#039; partially populated websites using WPMU. I&#039;ve been making edits to wpmu-functions.php to create the initial pages but was having serious bother with hierarchy and child pages.

I really like what you&#039;ve done and I am going to give your method a try instead.
